Professional Race Car Driver, Entrepreneur & Athlete. These three words describe Chapman Ducote’s myriad pursuits over the past two decades.

After graduating from the University of Miami in three years, Chapman Ducote accepted an investment banking position with Jeffries & Company in New York City for a brief one year stint, then went on to equities trading with CIBC Oppenheimer.  Missing South Florida and ready to start his own business ventures, Chapman returned to Miami Beach and embarked on a series of successful deals, ranging from real estate investing and developing (with projects including the Brooklyn Hotel, the Pelican Garage, Iguana Point, and Coral Cay – a private island in the Bahamas) to building and maintaining several of his own companies.  Beginning in 1994, and enduring throughout this foray into the business world of investing and developing, Chapman continued to pursue his true passion: racing on a professional level.  Over the years, Chapman has won several of the most competitive races in the American Le Mans Series (European Le Mans Series, Rolex Grand Am Series and currently IMSA WeatherTech Championship). He has raced in a variety of cars including: LMP1, LMPC, a GT1 car for Aston Martin and GT with several other manufacturers.

In 2005, Chapman founded Merchant Services LTD, a full scale, vertically integrated credit card processing company headquartered in the heart of Miami Beach. While Chapman was CEO and President, Merchant Services LTD had grown to over 500 employees and is a tier one merchant service processor that is certified by Visa/MasterCard and is a leading provider of merchant processing solutions and products nationwide and internationally. In 2018, following a successful merger, Chapman stepped away from his role as CEO and President to focus on new business ventures.

During his time growing Merchant Services LTD, Chapman began endeavors with Delta Carbon Yachts in 2013. He took on a position as the Director of Americas for the Swedish yacht building company, Delta Powerboats. One may say his love for racing and appreciation for carbon fiber is what pulled him towards the carbon fiber yacht building company and the beginning of Delta Carbon Yachts in south Florida.

Outside of racing and work at his offices in south Florida and Aspen, Chapman enjoys a long list of extreme adrenaline pumping hobbies: Snowbiking, snow boarding, spearfishing, free driving, extreme mountain hiking, and enduro motorcross.

Chapman Ducote has set a personal free-diving record by diving 128 feet on a single breath of air.

Chapman has demonstrated his love for the arts and his commitment to the Miami Beach community through his service on the Board of Directors of the Miami Symphony Orchestra & benefactor of the Perez Art Museum Miami.

Chapman is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) since 2016.

Chapman Ducote continues his pursuits as a well-rounded individual and successful business man. He will always strive to harvest new opportunities in both the business and motor sports worlds.
