For immediate release:

Chapman Ducote returns to the ALMS competition for 2012. Once again, Chapman will be behind the wheel of the No. 88 LMPC ORECA-FLM entry. Chapman has been busy keeping in top shape while managing his business in Miami Beach, and is ready for some excitement.

“I always get excited about the first race of the season”, said Ducote, “my fellow drivers and I do everything we can to stay in shape, to bolster our physical endurance and athleticism in the off-season while still keeping our minds sharp… you need to be prepared in every way for endurance racing.”

The No. 88 Car, sponsored by Merchant Services, LTD and One24.com will see its first major tarmac on the track at the 2012 ALMS and WEC season opener at the famed Sebring International raceway.

Sebring International Raceway will host the opening round of the 2012 FIA World Endurance Championship in conjunction with the 60th Anniversary of the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Fueled by Fresh from Florida. America’s premier sports car endurance race runs on Saturday, March 17. A total of 30 cars will represent the FIA WEC series, running with at least 30 more entries from the American Le Mans Series [ALMS], presented by Tequila Patrón, for a total of 60+ racecar entries. Headlining the list is nine-time Sebring winner Audi.

Asked how he feels about the March 17th Race at Sebring, a simple answer: “Coming off of the No.2 spot in the World Championship last year, with the Imola win and the podiums at Silverstone, Laguna Seca, and Petite Le Mans under our belt, the Ducote Racing team is ready to take all challengers”, proclaimed Chapman.
